The sequential 1+2-way FSI simulation of the HDR blowdown. The simulation is performed by simulation of the blowdown and rarefaction wave in the ADINA-CFD code and 1-way transfer of the pressure to the ADINA-FEM code with the potential based fluid and the structure, hence 2-way coupled.
This model shows that the HDR problem is linear, since the blowdown and vibroacoustic reponse can be treated separately and the two solutions can be superimposed, see the pressure result below.
