The Bathe time integration method in rotor dynamics

I recently saw a fascinating animation of the about the Dzhanibekov Effect (https://lnkd.in/e9QgJ9a) by another Swedish engineer https://lnkd.in/eygpyMn, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge Jesper! I had to test this immediately. I downloaded an M6 wingnut, removed the threads to make it more ideal, made a free mesh, put on a 100 revolutions per second initial rotational velocity, 100 time steps per revolution, solved for 2000 steps and the effect was there :-)
